Ivory is a type of paperboard that is quite thick and rigid with good folding qualities. It has ivory color on both its front and back side. One side is smooth, which is great for printing, and the other side has a slightly rougher texture. Since Ivory is made from virgin pulp, it is clean and safe for food. Ivory paper has always been popular in packaging for cosmetics and food packaging. Recently, Ivory paper are more often used in disposable paper plates and bowls, paper cups, and takeout boxes.
